Although the “Tammany Bank” was patented and initially produced in 1873, it lasted long enough and was made for many years later, undergoing several variants; Initially called “Little Fat Man Bank”, she was then called “Tammany Bank”. It was made in Cromwell, Connecticut by the company J. & E. Stevens.
