Contemporary Design
A small collection of vases has been designed around the reinterpretation of the “cannata” (a typical terracotta container used by farmers in the Ciociaria region to quench their thirst during fieldwork). This collection presents a potential array of artifacts that loosely draw inspiration from Etruscan pottery—a kind of invented archaeology. These containers could seemingly have existed for centuries, embodying Iacchetti’s personal exploration of the archetype concept: objects that transcend historical epochs. Beauty, harmony, and balance are timeless concepts that he deeply yearns for and has endeavored to explore in this work.
