20th Century Asian Blue and White Ceramic Elephant Form Lidded Vase or Box

Unique and charming blue and white Asian crackle glazed ceramic elephant lidded vase or box, 20th century. Beautifully decorated throughout with a fitted lid on top of the saddle with traditional fish and geometric motifs. The elephant’s trunk is playfully swung to one side enhancing its whimsical quality. It makes a creative display for flowers or a small plant. The opening at the top is 4.25″ x 3.75″. It is in very good condition.
