Vintage Design
A small silver salt shaker-throne concisely stylizing the carved, wooden and bast products of spinning wheels, with solar symbolism. The texture of wood along the external contours of the product is especially successful. The inside is gold plated. St. Petersburg hallmark 84 silver, 1871. Master: PK probably Kahun Robert for NICHOLLS & PLINCKE (NP) with the mark of the supplier of the Grand Dukes. Dimensions: 5 x 4.2 x 4.4 cm. Weight: 108.1 g.
