1930s Maxime Real Del Sarte Signed Terracotta Figure, Woman With Cat

Maxime REAL DEL SARTE (1888 – 1954) Art Deco terracotta figure “nude woman with cat” France c 1930. Renown French sculptor graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and the Academie Julien. Original antique. Beautiful work of art of a tender moment of a woman with her cat. Lovely pose and detail. No chips or cracks.

The last picture shows a larger version of this figure in hand carved marble and signed M. REAL DEL SARTE and dated 1932. This sculpture sold in auction in June 2024 for 3000 Euros. It could be reasonable to consider my terracotta a prior study to develop this sculpture and a good investment.
