Felix Průša (1922-1999) Art Glass Vase, Czech Republic, 1960s. This is a wonderful piece of Czech mid-century glass art in a deep emerald green color. Interesting shape which consists out of a repetition of interacting drop-like elements that appear to flow upwards and downwards. The base rim is decorated with a more rough and ‘granulated’ surface – so this piece of glass art really goes a long way in showing the viewer various art glass techniques. Therefore, it is a great example of the glory of the famous glass industry in the Czech Republic – which exists for a long time and also will exist in the future. The vase comes in a wonderful condition and is signed at the base rim.
