Made of glossy Alexandrite, particular type of glass with a typical violet color.
The Onda series that includes the ashtray and other objects such as pots, bearer etc … was designed in the early 70s.
Sergio Asti was a Milanese architect and designer who had collaborations with some of the largest companies of the time and who received numerous awards including the golden compass.
The Arnolfo di Cambio Vetreria was founded in Siena in 1963 since then has combined the design of the great Italian architects with the wisdom of the Tuscan Masters of Colle Val d’Elsa.
The ashtray is in excellent conservative condition, has some very slight sign in the internal edge due to age and use.
