Vintage Design
Titled ‘Olive Disko’ this ultra rare bowl by Per Lütken was made in 1961. The name Disko has nothing to do with disco. In fact the name was inspired by the reflections of light Lütken experienced visiting Diskobugten/ Disko Bay in Greenland during the early to mid 1950s. In this series this is the largest. Measurements: W: 26 cm, H: 13 cm. Hand-edged by the designer (PL) and dated 1961 to the bottom.
