Firescreen With Brass Peacock Feathers Clam Shell Base Vintage 1960s Hollywood Regency

ITEM DESCRIPTION:
A Hollywood Regency classic fire screen. Has 9 fenestrated brass ‘peacock feathers’ that fan out from the center. The reflection of the flames through the screen is exquisite. It even looks pretty when the fire is out. The feathers collapse into the center for convenient storage. There is a clamshell base and finial. Turn the top finial to release the fans blades. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. One side bracket holder is missing. There is no serious damage or repairs.
