Vintage Design
Gothic style box attributed to Alfred Louis Achille Daguet (1875-1942), from around 1900. The box is completely handmade from studded copper and brass, and various colors of glass cabochons are inlaid. The inside is lined with fabric on the inside of the lid and further with paper. This is a very fine work with very small details and typical Gothic style elements all around. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a signature, but due to the details and fine craftsmanship, this could certainly be a work by Alfred Louis Achille Daguet.
