Vintage Design
This vintage kokeshi was created by Kazuo Takamizawa, and its kimono is adorned with motifs of flowers and geometric shapes. Dimensions: height 31 cm, diameter 11 cm. The bottom bears the artist’s signature.
This kokeshi is in good condition with minor signs of use as seen in the photos.

Takamizawa-san resides in Maebashi City, in Gunma Prefecture, considered the craft center of modern Sosaku Kokeshi dolls. He is a multiple award winner, including the Prime Minister’s Award.
