Swedish Grace Period Mirror and Two Sconces in Pewter By David Wretling, 1920s.
Extremely rare set of a mirror with a pair of sconces depicting Adam & Eve, cast in pewter in the late 1920´s. Made in Sweden, by David Wretling. He was a famous Swedish sculptor and artist, born in 1901, died 1986. He studied for the very famous Professor and Sculptor, Carl Milles, at the academy of art and later at Académie Scandinave in Paris 1930.
The quality of this set is very high and the measurements of the mirror are 51 x 32 cm, the sconces measure 27 cm in height. There are some minor bumps and dents, but nothing serious, please see pictures.
