Set of 6, vintage “tortoise shell” or “burnt” bamboo slat Placemats. These 19″ wide and 13″ high wood mats consist of 1/8″ thick vertical bamboo slats, alternating with thin 1/8″ round bamboo rods or sticks, held together by dark brown chord woven in 6 evenly placed parallel rows across the front and, alternately, back of the mats. A great set for a Tiki / Tropical style cocktail hour or Chinoiserie-style table setting.
